About WRSTBND

Built for the biggest
events on earth.

We make the hardware and the software behind festivals, championships, and conferences you’ve heard of, and we’re on-site when the gates open. We wrote the code, and we’ve worked the floor.

Where we've worked

Home base is New Orleans. The work is everywhere.

Hundreds of events a year, coast to coast and overseas. Drag to roam, zoom in, and scrub the timeline to watch the map fill in.

2021
Our story

It started as the software a production crew built to run its own festivals.

WRSTBND spun out of Solomon Group (a live-events company that builds and runs some of the country’s biggest shows) in 2019. The tech started as the system the crew wired up to run their own events, because nothing they could buy was rugged enough, flexible enough, or willing to keep working when the connectivity didn’t.

“With festivals, we’re basically building a city for that weekend. We take a place that’s an open slate and layer in our equipment, our site planning, our maps, to make it all work.” Conway Solomon, CEO & Co-Founder

So they built the hardware too: readers that keep scanning offline, hold the line through a dead zone, and stay legible under a noon sun. Owning every layer is the point: when access, credentials, payments, and data all run on one platform, the wristband scanned at the gate is the same record that buys a beer at the bar and lands in the report by morning, gate to checkout, no stitching, no finger-pointing.

In 2024, WRSTBND became part of AXS, the ticketing company owned by AEG. AXS gets people to the show; WRSTBND runs everything that happens once they’re through the gate. The deal opened bigger doors, but what makes WRSTBND WRSTBND didn’t change. We still operate as our own company and build every layer ourselves. Today the platform runs the NFL Draft, the College Football Playoff, Formula 1, Coachella, and hundreds of events a year, and the promise stays the same: gear and software that hold up under the worst day a show can throw at them.

Where the gear gets built and the next show comes together.

Our HQ and warehouse are where every event starts: gear staged and stress-tested, site plans drawn, maps built, then packed out and run on the ground. The crew is on the road most weekends of the year, so the time at home base goes to building, fixing, and resetting for whatever’s next.

What we believe

How we show up.

We build both

The hardware and the software are made for each other, literally. We don’t resell someone else’s gear, and when the gate goes down at 8pm Saturday, there’s one number to call and it’s ours.

On-site, in the field with you

We don’t email you a manual and wish you luck. Our crew runs load-in, training, the show, and load-out, standing at the gate beside your team when it counts.

Built for the field

Dead zones, dust, rain, a hundred thousand people through one gate. Our gear is proven at real events and built to keep scanning when the network quits.

Every event is new

We treat each one like building a city for the weekend: site plan, maps, gear, crew. Then we strike it and do the whole thing again somewhere new.

The crew

Engineers who ship and operators who’ve run the show.
